BBusiness Visitors to Canada do not require a Work Permit. A Business Visitor is a foreign national who comes to Canada to participate in international business activities, but will not enter the Canadian labor market.
Although a work permit is not required, Business Visitors from countries requiring a Temporary Residence Visa (TRV) to enter Canada must receive a TRV before traveling to Canada.
They must intend to stay in Canada for a short period, like less than six months
They must not plan to enter the Canadian labor market
Their main place of business and source of income and profits must be located at the outside of Canada
They must have documents that support their application and
They must meet standard Canadian entry requirements. For instance
1. Must have valid passport or travel document
2. Have enough money to stay in Canada
3. Visitor should be healthy
4. Should not be a criminal so that, Canadians can not have any risk from them either health wise or security wise.
